Yozgat Pine Grove National Park
First national park - established in February 5, 1958
264 hectares
located in central Anatolia
known for its large amounts of pine trees (coniferous)
trees are between 350 to 500 years old
has the tallest waterfall in Turkey, at 157 ft tall
has hotels in the park itself
pATARA bEACH
one of the longest sandy beaches ranging up to 20 kilometers
on the coast of the Mediterranean sea
legend says that Santa Claus was on Patara beach in the 3rd century
tickets cost $1.50 US
not crowded at all because of the few hotels for tourists in the small town

Düden
Waterfalls
located on the coast of the Mediterranean sea
created by a river that extends from the Tarus Mountains into the Mediterranean sea
the falls is around 15 meters high and 20 meters wide
there are natural caves behind the walls where you are able to sit
there are two parts the upper and the lower (the upper parts has the more spectacular grennery)
Göreme National Park
a spectacular landscape that was created by erosion
it is one of the many world heritage sites
there is evidence of humans living on this land during the 4th century
many pinnacles and valleys were created
there are signs of under ground towns in this magnificent location
